#Namaste is a salutation or greeting in Hindi (An Indian language). The word Namaste is a combination of the two Sanskrit words: nama, and te. Basically, nama means "to bow" and te means "you." The basic interpretation of this greeting is The God/Goddess Spirit within me recognizes and honors the God/Goddess Spirit within you.

A hand held fan made of palm leaves was used to fan the flames to light the charcoal. Sometimes a long hollow cylindrical metal rod was also used to blow air onto the charcoal to help ignite it.
